About Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis
Allergic reactions can be severely life-threatening very quickly. Early intervention can stop the situation from getting worse and promote recovery. A dose of adrenaline from an auto-injector should buy the time needed to get the emergency services on scene. Failing that, good quality CPR and defibrillation may well save the victim’s life.
