First Aid Training Associates is an approved centre of Qualsafe Awards, an Awarding Organisation recognised by OFQUAL. Our centre number is 904647.Ofqual is the regulator of First Aid qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.

FOFATO is an independent association formed to ensure high standards of First Aid training amongst its 400+ members by providing support on first aid and health & safety related issues, and ensuring that members work to HSE standards (as a mimimum).

Driver CPC is a required programme for lorry, bus and coach drivers, requiring 35 hours of training in every 5 year period. We offer a 7 hour First aid course which is approved for Driver CPC points.

We are also approved by SMP (Service Medical Professionals), a voluntary accreditation scheme that has carried out the “due diligence” that employers have to undertake if the first aid course is not Ofqual registered. This means that employers can have the peace of mind that training carried out by SMP registered trainers meets all current requirements.

I found this training a lot better than first aid training I’ve been to before. Not only was I having a first aid course, but it also felt a bit like a biology session too, which was good. I can’t think of any ways to improve it, as it was very interesting.
