Our team
Stephen Hall (director and lead trainer) has a wealth of experience in both delivering first aid training and as a volunteer first aider, attending many public events throughout Norfolk and in the military communities in Germany and Cyprus. In addition he has crewed ambulances for NHS trusts in Norfolk and West Midlands and has been a community first responder and a volunteer first aider on the SOS Bus in Norwich. His interest and involvement in first aid started at the age of 11 and he has been a full time trainer since 1989.
Whilst still involved in hands-on first-aid training, Stephen’s primary role is to design the courses and to manage the training team to ensure that all courses are delivered to the same high standards. Stephen monitors course feedback very closely and also carries out regular face to face monitoring.
Lucy Lawrence (company secretary) also has a lot of experience in first aid – starting at the age of 6. She undertook all the training for the contract with Norwich Primary Care Trust. This meant she provided training in resuscitation, anaphylaxis and defibrillation for, amongst others, doctors, nurses and physiotherapists.
Sarah Spears (educational adviser) is a qualified teacher who again has a lot of experience in first aid – starting at the age of 8. As well as providing some of the first aid training she has input into the educational aspect of the courses and is involved in quality assurance.
Dr Andrew Hall (medical adviser) provides relevant medical input to the courses. He also has an intimate knowledge of the problems faced by first aiders, having started his own involvement with first aid at the age of 6.
Other Trainers. We also have a number of other trainers registered with us, based in various locations around England. These include doctors, paramedics, nurses, ex-firefighters and ex- military medics. All of our trainers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our courses and all have been selected for their friendly, sympathetic approach to training.
